Sir,
I
am the resident of Lahore city. Keeping in view the 4rth wave of COVID-19, NCOC
issued strict Standard Operating Procedures to be followed during pandemic to
prevent the spread of COVID-19.Stay home, stay safe policy is totally
neglected. As per the notification it is
necessary for every citizen to wear mask, maintain social distance and other
SOPs compliance. But here it is being brought into your notice that people are
totally violating these SOPs. When they visit bazar or any market, they do not
wear masks. Social distancing is totally abrogated. The streets and bazars are
crowded with people. Shopkeepers do not urge the customers to wear masks or
maintain social distance. Covid cases graph is going high due to the
carelessness and wide scale violation of SOPs by the people. Sometime some
police men visit the market but they do not take any serious or severe action
against the violation of these SOPs. Here I am sending you some pics taken by
my mobile camera as a proof.
It
is requested to take a severe action against the citizens and the shopkeepers
who violate the SOPs set by the government. Your prompt action would force the
people to strictly follow these SOPs in order to prevent the spread of virus. I
hope that you will take an action at earliest.
