All Public and private Schools Closed for Six Days over Province Punjab
Decisions made due to rise in COVID-19 Cases
The provincial education
minister has announced the closure of public and private schools for six days.
In Punjab, all public and private schools will remain close from 6th
September to 11th September 2021. The minister requested the parents
and the students to stay at home. The efforts are being made to stop the spread
of COVID cases.
Many colleges
and universities students worried either this notification is for them or not.
Punjab University is going to conduct ADA/ADS part.1 Annual 2021/Supply 2020
exams from 10th September and ADA/ADS Part.2 exams from 24th
September 2021. In this regard the university has issued the roll number slips
to the students.
Now the
confusion has been created once again by the issuance of this notification. If
the government again implements a lock down and closes all the educational
institutes, fear is that ADA/ADS Annual 2021 PU exams will be postponed once again.
Earlier these exams were postponed in March 2021 due to rise in COVID cases.
If we read the
notification, it says that all public and private schools have been closed for
six days. It never says that all universities and colleges have been closed.
So, one thing becomes clear that all universities and colleges will go on
working and will be able to conduct the exams
