The Punjab Government Announces
to Upgrade 27,000 Primary and Elementary Schools
The Punjab Government has
allocated the budget of Rs. 50 Billion for this purpose. The main purpose
behind this mega project is to facilitate the students and to provide them
better educational opportunities. CM Punjab Mr.Usman Buzdar says that this government
wants to facilitate the students in education so they could play a significant role
in the progress and development of the country. As per the sources that say
that allover the Punjab some 27,517 schools are being upgraded. For this
purpose the Punjab government has formed a committee that will review the
process weekly in order to complete it at the earliest.
According to the statement issued, the 1st phase of
schools up gradation will start on 1st August 2021 and it will
benefit some four millions students in the province Punjab. Mr.Buzdar says that
the topmost priority of the present government is to facilitate the students
and to provide them quality education. This is why the present government is
more focusing on education.
In the 2nd phase, the government will upgrade some 6653
higher level schools in the province Punjab. During the process, the problem of
students accommodation will rise and for the time being they will be accommodated
in the primary schools and later the classes will be shifted to the upgraded
schools. Temporarily, two shifts will be held in the schools and the students
will easily attend the lectures and go on learning without facing any
inconvenience.
