Meeting of Education Minsters was Held at NCOC
The meeting
held on 6th April 2021 was chaired by federal education minister
Shafqat Mehmmod.
In the
meeting the situation was monitored and decisions were made regarding opening
and closing of the schools/colleges and universities in the effected districts
of Pakistan. Thy made many decisions regarding the conduct of the exams.
At the end
of the meeting Shafqat Mehmood briefed the media about the important decisions
done in the meeting. The important points of that meeting are mentioned below:
In the
effected districts students of class 1-8 will join their classes on 28th
April 2021. The committee will conduct a meeting again on 28th April
and will review the situation whether to open classes on that day or to extend
the holidays further.
In the
effected districts of Pakistan the classes of 9, 10, 11 and 12 grades will
commence after following strict SoPs.
The exams of
Matriculation and Intermediate will be commenced in the third week of May. If
any Education Board has issued any schedule and date sheet already that will be
canceled. The exams will be conducted in the third week of May2021.
The exams of
O/A level will be conducted as per the routine and schedule already issued by
Cambridge. There is no change in that schedule.
The
education ministry has requested the universities to delay the exams of entry
tests.
