Punjab University Six Professors Ranked in the World
Stanford University in California has issued an evaluation
sheet of top two percent researches of the world. It is an honor for Punjab
university that its six more professors of Sciences departments have been
included in the top two percent researchers of the world Three professor had
already been included in that ranking sheet. In this way their numbers have
touched the digit of nine.
This list has been compiled by professor John Ioannidis of
Stanford University and his team members. This list bears the names of 159,683
professors of science disciplines over the world.

The special Status goes to Professor Doctor Khalid Mahmood
who is the only professor of library/information sciences in South Asia who has
been ranked in the list.
The vice chancellor of Punjab University Prof. Niaz Ahmed and
Pro vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Salem Mazhr have congratulated the professors who
have been ranked in the list.
They have also appreciated the dedication and hard work of
the professors who have brought a fair name to Punjab University and have highlighted
the name of Pakistan over the world. They have pledged to provide full stop to
the faculty member in research field.
The life time research work evaluation list includes 81
professors whereas one year research work evaluation list includes 343
professors and teachers from the higher education institutions in Pakistan.
