BA English Paper B 2nd Annual 2019 Group.1&2 Conducted on 4 November Solved | The University of Sargodha
Marriage is a vital part of life and
like any other partnership of business, it has its periods of depression and
periods of elation. The same principles used in business can profitably be
employed in marriage; patience, willingness to sacrifice and tolerance help to
avoid friction. Why the monotony of household duties weighs us, when we never
get to remember as in other aggravations. "This too shall be away".
The household disorder caused by children is only for a short period in life.
All too quickly it ceases. The aggravations and inconveniences of constant
illness also pass away and are a part of life and not of marriage. The
sleepless nights pass all too soon, we have more time than we desire for sleep.
The poor men and women have no monopoly on the cares and worries in life. Rich
and poor share alike in all experiences.
Questions:
1. How is married life a sort of
business?
2. How can we overcome the hardships of
married life?
3. What part do the moral qualities play
in making a marriage successful?
4. Make a precis of the above passage and
suggest a suitable title.
Tracts
of land from which coal is obtained are called coal-fields. These so-called
fields are not on the surface of earth, like fields of rice and wheat, but at
some depth below it. They consist of layers of beds which run under the
grounds. When a layer of this kind has been opened, the opening is called a
mine and hence coal is classed as mineral. India possesses many coal-fields but
much fewer and smaller than those of England in proportion to the size of the
country. The coal too is of inferior quality. It is without gas and it leaves
much larger amount of ash when it is burnt.

as a mineral?

Such moments also occur in the ups and downs of life when
a man loses his hope completely. He sees darkness all around. His power of competition
comes to an end. It is against man s’ dignity. All the progress of the world is
the result of that courage and perseverance that Almighty God has bestowed on
man. Man should never lose hope but should face the failures with courage and
have faith in God s’ blessings. God never disappoints such man.
The
American scientists have revealed that the temperature of the Earth is rising
and in atmosphere the quantity of carbon di oxide gas is increasing. As per
their opinion this change is happening due to the burning of coal, oil and gas.
Burning of coal is damaging the atmosphere severely. They have told that this
situation would cause negative impacts on the Earth in a few years. In the world,
sea level would increase due to which the coastal areas would be destroyed by flood
and rain. The North America and other areas of the world would not be arable.
