“Heaven lies under the feet of a mother”
Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)
Man and woman are integral wheels of a car and woman is as important as man. Since the olden days, the women are the victim of cruelty and social pressure as well. It is a broad day reality that people, especially men think the women as a commodity and a soulless creature.

And for women are rights over men; similar to those of men over women” Qur’an 2: 228

New Zealand recognized the rights of the women and gave them the right of voting in 1928.It meant that before that period the women opinion did not matter. Now this is the age of values and women emancipation. Now women are working side by side the men in every walk of life.

Competent and educated women are welcomed in every field of life. They are playing a constructive role in the field of medicine, education, agriculture, politics, culture, science and nursing. Some brave women are working as officers in Army and even in police force. But being working women, they have to face some problems,

Human rights are women s’ rights and women s’ rights are human rights” Hillary Clinton

Ours is a male dominating society and in this male dominating society, the working women are not working freely. They face harassment at every step of life. This male dominating society thinks that women should not be paid equally to men. This is why, women are low paid in this society. Their fundamental rights are violated and exploited. Women have to struggle real hard to make a smooth flow in this society.

“Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition” Timothy Leary

It is seen that vocational training is only given to the men and not to the women. A Chinese leader said ‘Women cover half of the sky’. It means that no nation can progress without the dynamic role played by the women living in that nation. Without proper vocational training, women cannot offer their full-fledged role in the stream of national development.

Women are less equipped with transportation system. When a working woman comes out of her house to go to her job place, she does not even find a proper rickshaw to reach her destination. She has to travel in a male crowded bus where she faces many problems. Often she has to take help from her husband, brother and father for conveyance. If a brave woman uses bike, she becomes an object of laughter in the society.

“My ideal man is faithful, honest and a gentleman who knows how to treat woman”   Irina Shayk

This is the era of science and women emancipation. The basic and fundamental rights of the women are being recognized rapidly. Today s’ women are freer than the past. They are being given equal opportunities in every walk of life. Proper laws are being legislated for women. They can use the power of vote. They can take part in the politics.

“If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman you educate a whole nation”
Dr. James Emman Kwegyir Aggrey

Islam as a religion does not prohibit the women from taking part in any field of life. Women are allowed to do jobs for the betterment of their family and children. In Islam women are free in their will of marriage and in choosing any job as career. Islam has appointed a due share in the property for women.

Hazrat Khadija (R.A) was a business woman while Hazrat Ayesha (R.A) was a teacher of many prominent figures of learning and knowledge. Islam gives equal rights to the women. But Islam is against making them a showpiece.

If we do not lift up women and families, everyone will fall short”
Kamala Harris

No one is allowed to deprive the women of their basic human rights or from the rights of jobs to earn their living. They should not be considered children producing machines. Men should therefore be kind to their wives, the mothers of their children. Their happy life means the happy life of their children. Without the active participating of women Pakistan cannot get progress.
